Rodney Fox Shark Expeditions

Join Rodney Fox Shark Expeditions, the world’s first and original great white shark dive, aboard Princess II for the ultimate great white shark adventure!

Tours depart seasonally from North Quay Boulevard, Port Lincoln, South Australia to the beautiful and world famous Neptune Islands.

No diver certification is needed to view these magnificent sharks safely from our surface cages and our PADI qualified crew give full cage and dive briefings and make sure everyone onboard is happy and confident!

For certified divers, experience the great white shark like very few have in our world exclusive ocean floor cage, along with huge smooth rays and other endemic Southern Ocean fish life.

For maximum shark time and weather, our itineraries are two to seven days and we take a maximum of 12 guests.

After a days’ diving and topside viewing of the great white sharks, sit back and relax with beautiful local South Australian food and wine, enjoy looking at the days pictures and videos or partake in some of our white shark research and identification programs. One evening will also include a great white shark biology/research talk.

Many trips hosted by Andrew or Rodney Fox, please see website for details.

Rodney Fox Shark Expeditions - Two to Four Nights

Join Rodney Fox Shark Expeditions for an adventure of a lifetime, diving with and learning about, great white sharks. Your adventure to the world famous Neptune Islands begins, travelling through the scenic and sheltered gulf waters of the Thorny Passage. On location, we start looking for sharks, give our cage and dive safety briefs and as soon as the sharks arrive, the diving starts and after the first test dive, guests are free to enter and exit at leisure. Our surface cages are suitable for all as no dive certification is needed here plus our PADI qualified crew will look after anybody feeling a little nervous. Due to our smaller numbers and longer time on location, our guests can take their time in the cages and we'll be looking out to ensure all guests get an equal share of the action. We stay on location overnight and move to the most comfortable anchorage after dark to give maximum daytime productivity. Itinerary depending, guests will either stay onboard and disembark the next morning or disembark upon arrival back in port. Our six comfortable cabins are all en-suite and accommodate double or twin share. Operates: By arrangment.
